How to install expansion cards:
1- Power down and unplug all wires and cables from the back of your computer.
2- Loosen two hand screws on the side panel of the computer and gently slide the panel away from you.
3- Loosen a screw over top of the expansion slot's metal bracket with the Philips screw driver, and pull the bracket upward.
4- Line up the pins of the expansion card with the correct slot on the motherboard, and gingerly press down until you hear a "click."
5- Slide the side panel slowly back into the rivets, and hand tighten two screws.
6- Plug all wires and cables to the back of your computer.
7- Turn on the computer and determine if the card was installed correctly.

In this part i have show how to install an expansion cards, i have also put a link that shows how to ADD and Remove the expansion card, and an expansion card is a printed circuit board that
can be installed in computer to add functionality to it. So the users that need
more Fire wire
or USB ports can add Fire
wire or USB expansion cards, which provide additional connections. However, people should be carfull about curten things, such as:
- If the card doesn't seem to fit, so they have to check the notches and tabs.
- Retain the old blanking plate so that it can be replaced if the expansion card is to be removed at a later date.
- If a double width plate is removed then the gap should be filled using a half width blanking plate.
- check that the connector pins are straight and inform before lining it up with the chosen empty back plane socket.
- If the card doesn't seem to fit, so they have to check the notches and tabs.
